If you like to shop at Kroger, keep an eye out for a fake check scam.
According to Kroger, someone is sending out checks to Kroger customers claiming to be from the store.
The checks say the customers have won a shoppers lottery, but to get the money, the winner has to send a fee to a Canadian bank.
The only problem is that the check is fraudulent.
Police say what makes this scam so convincing is that it goes through the U.S. Postal Service and uses legitimate Kroger checks.
