Driver plows into Amtrak train
New Buffalo Twp, MI The Amtrak train was on its way to Chicago when the sedan plowed into the side.

A close call came for a driver Sunday in New Buffalo Twp when he slammed into the side of a passenger train.
It happened around 10:15 Sunday morning at Wilson Rd near Kulver Rd in New Buffalo Twp. The Amtrak train was on its way to Chicago when the sedan plowed into the side.
Amazingly the driver had only minor injuries and was taken to a Michigan City hospital. The driver was later ticketed for failing to yield and for driving with a suspended license.
