South Bend, IN A South Bend man is accused of molesting his mentally challenged step-daughter.

A South Bend man is accused of molesting his mentally challenged step-daughter. 38-year-old Timothy Strait faces charges for child molesting, domestic battery and criminal confinement.
The Prosecutor’s office says the 11-year-old's mother woke up early Sunday morning to find her husband lying on top of her daughter.
Strait claimed they were wrestling. When she questioned her husband, he allegedly pushed her to the floor and refused to let her leave their apartment.
She called for help later that day after strait fell asleep.
Strait has a criminal past including domestic violence and theft convictions out of Michigan, Texas and Florida.
