The town of Osceola is considering adding water and sewer for their residents. But the problem is a majority of residents are against the idea.
During a town hall meeting last week, an informal court was taken by the residents. Only 12 people said they were in favor of the proposal, where 45 were against it.
Monday night, there was another meeting on the issue from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Moran Elementary School.
Town leaders held a public meeting Monday night to look at just how much it will cost to make the switch and how much it would cost residents.
Several residents spoke out, saying the price is just too high.
An informal count of those who attended showed 71 residents against the proposal and only 10 for it.
No vote was taken on the matter.
