Deadlines nearing for armed forces holiday shipping
Washington, D.C. The United States Postal Service released deadlines to ensure holiday packages arrive on time to armed forces serving overseas.

The United States Postal Service released deadlines to ensure holiday packages arrive by December 25th to armed forces serving overseas.
The deadlines apply to all mail going to Army Post Office or Fleet Post Office ZIP Codes.
The USPS said regardless of destination, the cost of sending mail to service members overseas will be calculated at the domestic rate, not the international rate.
The USPS provide free kits with mailing material, to order a kit call 1-800-610-87354 .
Mail must be addressed to individual service members.

- Parcel Post: Nov. 13
- Space Available Mail: Nov. 21
- Parcel Airlift: Dec. 1
- Priority Mail: Dec. 4
- First Class mail, letters and cards: Dec. 4
All other APO/FPO
- Parcel Post: Nov. 13
- Space Available Mail: Nov. 28
- Parcel Airlift: Dec. 4
- Priority Mail: Dec. 11
- First Class mail, letters and cards: Dec. 11
- Express Mail Military Service: Dec. 18
