You can help a family in need this weekend as their 18-year-old son battles cancer.
Matt Surrett is going through treatment for bone cancer at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
He's had a shoulder replacement and chemo, and now his family is looking to the community for support during this tough time.
They're holding a fundraiser dinner and auction Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Legion in Monterey, which is just southwest of Culver. There will also be a cash bar, bake sale, and hog roast.
