Cheney to speak at Economic Club of SW Michigan meeting

A big name will be in Benton Harbor Thursday night.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney will speak at Lake Michigan College's Mendel Center.
Cheney is speaking to the Economic Club of Southwest Michigan. Organization leaders say Thursday’s meeting will likely be one of the year's most attended.
There's no word what the former vice president will talk about, but club officials say Cheney has never been shy about commenting on current topics and that will likely be the case Thursday.
Former President George W. Bush spoke to the club back in May.
They are still trying to bring former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to the area.
