The founder of ESPN was in South Bend Wednesday because his new endeavor continues to support a local RV company.
Bill Rasmussen was at the college football hall of fame to accept the keys to a new van that's used by his network called "College Fanz."
It's the second van they've ordered from American Custom Vehicles, an Elkhart company.
Rasmussen says they decided to work with someone in Elkhart after hearing about the financial struggles on the national news.
“We didn't know who the somebody would be, but it is safe to say none of the big guys, none of the other guys we thought we'd talk to, we never did talk to,” Rasmussen said.
The van, and custom trailers also made by ACV, will be used in live broadcasts for College Fanz, which covers NAIA level football.
