It's a way to get a hair cut and help out an area organization at the same time.
This Sunday is the annual fall Cut-a-Thon, a fundraiser for Madison Center's S-O-S.
For a $15 donation you can get a hair cut, manicure or massage at three South Bend salons.
Salon workers donate their services to help raise money for the rape crisis center.
“To make women feel, look and, you know, feel good about themselves and to have that, that makes you feel good inside too, if something tragic happens like that then make them feel good and makes me feel good at the same time,” says Hannah Eichorst of Changes in Attitude salon
The Cut-a-Thon is Sunday from 10 to 4 p.m.
No appointment is necessary.
The salons taking part include Hannah's Changes in Attitude, Illusions and Hair Crafters.
