Michiana celebrates Galileo anniversary with "Telescope Renaissance"
Exactly 400 years ago Tuesday, Italian merchants gathered to see Galileo's new discoveries with the telescope.

Exactly 400 years ago Tuesday, Italian merchants gathered to see Galileo's new discoveries with the telescope.
Now, the Michiana Astronomical Society is celebrating Galileo’s contribution to the world of science by helping people repair their own telescopes or learn how to use them.
The event called “Telescope Renaissance” will be held on Friday, August 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Toscana Park in Granger.
