Elkhart teacher enters plea in child seduction case
Monday Dennis Jay pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery as part of a plea deal and was sentenced to six months, but the prison time was all suspended.

A former Elkhart teacher charged with child seduction pleaded guilty Monday, but he won't serve any jail time.
Police said 36-year-old Dennis Jay had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl at Elkhart Central High School.
He faced three counts of felony child seduction.
Monday he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery as part of a plea deal and was sentenced to six months, but the prison time was all suspended.
Jay will be on probation for one year.
