Some controversial ads for an atheist group will appear on Transpo buses around the area, after all.
The ad for the Indiana atheist group states: "You can be good without God".
The approval came from Transpo last week but, according to Transpo, the atheist group reconsidered running the ads at the time.
Now Transpo says they will go up, making South Bend the first city in Indiana to allow the group's ads.
The group was denied advertising on buses in Bloomington, but the ACLU filed a lawsuit, citing the group's first amendment rights.
Meanwhile similar ads, from the same atheist group, have been running on 25 buses in Chicago for the past week, and will continue through June.
The large ads read, "In the beginning, man created God".
