Students and parents at one Michiana school received news this afternoon about a confirmed case of swine flu in the area.
The mother of a student at Oak Manor School in Niles says a letter came home with her child today, saying a sixth grader has a confirmed case of swine flu.
Since it's near the end of the school year, the infected student will be staying home, and the cleaning products the school uses are in line with the CDC's recommendations.
But the mom who sent WNDU the letter is concerned that the kids are being asked to go to school at Oak Manor tomorrow.
Berrien County currently has 30 confirmed cases of swine flu.
