Unemployment numbers in Michiana are at an all time high, which means lots of people are trying to file for unemployment.

The St. Joe County Public Library and WorkOne are partnering up to make the filing process a little easier for those who need a computer.

Indiana requires people to file online for unemployment. Since many don't have computers at home, they are turning to their local library for help.

This can cause long lines and long waits for the computers. To help that problem, the St. Joe County Library is setting aside 15 computers every Sunday for those who need to file an unemployment claim.

"I used to have to come in, before this was set up, I'd have to get in line upstairs with a computer and stand in line with everyone else who just wants the computer to just, to you know, play on the computer, whatever, and then since they set this up I'm basically in and out since all I have to do is generate my voucher in about five minutes I'm done," said Michael Wells, one of those filing for unemployment.

The computers will be available for use every Sunday afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Rockne training room on the lower level of the library.
