A Mishawaka school got quite a scare Thursday after shots were fired near the building.
St. Monica's School was put on lockdown just after 7:00 Thursday morning.
Teachers and students were led downstairs, while parents were urged not to drop off their kids.
Police found four shell casings in an alley behind a house on West Grove Street.
There were also several weapons inside the home.
Two men were taken in for questioning. Police say they refused to cooperate at the scene.
The school was on lockdown for about 25 minutes.
