Alleged drug dealer arrested after high-speed pursuit
Berrien County, MI Berrien County police were involved in a high-speed chase after trying to arrest a possible drug dealer.

Berrien County police were involved in a high-speed chase after trying to arrest a possible drug dealer.
On Wednesday evening, police observed 23-year-old Nigel Cooper, of Dowagiac, make several apparent narcotic deals.
When officials tried to conduct a traffic stop on Cooper’s SUV, he fled the scene. Officers then followed Cooper in a high-speed chase.
The chase ended when Cooper crashed his SUV into a tree. He tried to run on foot, but officers caught him.
At the crash site, police found approximately $1,100 worth of heroin and a small of amount of marijuana in the vehicle.
Cooper was arrested and is being held at the Berrien County Jail on seven charges, including: possession of heroin with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug vehicle, fleeing, and resisting an officer.
