The family of a murdered LaGrange County couple is looking for justice and asking the public for help.

You may recall, in October of 2005 Terry and Darleen Anderson were found beaten to death in their Mongo home; the case remains unsolved.

Now, Terry’s daughter and Darleen’s stepdaughter, Sherry Musilek, are taking the search for the killer to the national level. The story is currently being featured on the website of “America's Most Wanted.”

Sherry Musilek says she won't stop until justice is done for her father and stepmother. She is hoping recent media attention and “America's Most Wanted” will help convince someone to talk.

The case is now more than three years old and Musilek says she doesn't want it growing colder.

The unsolved murders of Terry and Darleen Anderson are still on the minds of many Mongo residents, ask anyone inside the Mongo Country Store.

“I know, I drove home from work that day and seen all the police cars there,” says Chuck Watson, owner of the Mongo Country Store.

“It's always important for murder cases to get solved, big or small,” adds Max Woodworth, a Mongo resident.

On October 21, 2005, 57-year-old Darleen Anderson and 59-year-old Terry Anderson were found beaten to death in their home. Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry and several items were stolen from the home.

Musilek is now on a mission to get the case solved. She spoke to NewsCenter 16 by phone from her Chicago-area home. “You just don't understand who would do something like that to two beautiful people. And they left a lot behind, left a lot of family that really miss them,” adds Musilek.

Because of Musilek's persistence, the Anderson's story is now featured on the “America's Most Wanted” web page. “What I really want is the person who did it to see this, hear me and come forward, and someone that knows information please come forward,” Musilek explains.

While the family hopes for closure, the LaGrange County Sheriff says his department isn't giving up on the case. “Our detectives are still working on it, two county detectives and a state police detective working on it, pretty much they go through everything once a week,” says LaGrange County Sheriff Terry Martin.

“Our community, really over the three-year period, has not forgotten the Andersons. We have a little memorial service once a year close to the anniversary of their death,” says Pastor Jim Bartlett. Bartlett is a Mongo resident and pastor at Mongo United Methodist Church.

Bartlett knew the Andersons and has faith that justice will prevail. It's a sentiment shared by many in the small, quiet town of Mongo. “We'll do what we can to keep this story alive because it's important to us to get closure,” explains Pastor Bartlett.

Musilek’s family has raised more than $20,000 for a reward leading to an arrest.

Sheriff Martin also says that since the story was posted on the “America's Most Wanted” web page, they've received several new tips. Musilek’s family is hoping that local attention might spur the show’s producers to come to Mongo, Indiana for the story.
