Police in LaPorte County say they know who is responsible for shooting and killing a popular Belgian draft horse.
The horse was shot and died last month in a pasture on South 650 West.
Police have arrested two people, but will not release more details until Friday.
The owners say the animal was loved by thousands of people in the community.
The horse was part of a team of draft horses that pulled wagons at Garwood Orchards.
