While one local pub is closing, another is opening -- and plenty of people are pouring into that bar, hoping to land a job.

Mad Anthony Brewing Company is getting ready to open in downtown Elkhart.

Almost 500 people are expected to apply for jobs this week, but the restaurant will only be hiring 120 workers.

The beer is brewed at their home office in Ft. Wayne and will be shipped to Elkhart.

"Our business model can survive through tough economic times and affluent times, and we are poised and ready for battle," says company representative Matt Faley.

Mad Anthony plans to open by mid-December.

This will be their fourth restaurant in Indiana.
