It's a happy homecoming for six Michiana families this weekend.
Six army reservists were welcomed back at the South Bend Airport Saturday night.
They are part of Kalamazoo's 415th Civil Affairs Unit but some of them are from the Michiana area.
The group left last year just before Thanksgiving and are back this year just in time for the holidays.
“We've been through so much, to get to this point actually does not feel like it's reality yet,” says Reservist Chris Smith.
Some of the reservists had a chance to visit their families this spring but are happy to be home for good now.
