This summer, the Majerek's in downtown Niles burned to the ground after an electrical fire, and the Majerek family vowed to rebuild.
Friday afternoon at 4pm the family lit up the "open" sign at their new store in downtown Niles, much to the delight of residents.
The Majerek's say this store is smaller than the old one, but say they wanted to create something new and special. Something the residents of Niles have been waiting for.
"The whole town has told me in the last few days, as we've been getting the word out, that they've been waiting, and would like to shop in downtown Niles if they have the chance," said owner Tom Majerek.
The new store is located at 213 Main Street in downtown Niles.
