A Starke County school corporation is under a boil order.

The Oregon-Davis School Corporation is having mechanical problems with its water well.

Until the order is lifted, bottled water and hand sanitizers will be available for students.

Conditions are expected to return to normal by Tuesday.

Do this seem odd to anyone? OD cancels school any chance they can get. The slight weather altering occasion OD will be canceled. Then they go on a boil order and have school for 2 days. They send notes home the day before to tell the parents. I find this EXTREMLY WRONG and was furious when I got my daughters letter. Why would we not just use our built in snow days and cancel school if our water is not working??? Sounds to me like there is way more to the story than Dr. Disney is giving out.
