We have seen all kinds of ads for the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates in the Hoosier State, but on Friday Michiana got a taste of the other guy.
Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr stopped in South Bend.
Barr spoke to a group of more than 100 people -- mostly students -- at Washington Hall on Notre Dame's campus.
He talked about the bailout and other pressing issues, but also spent some time reflecting on the presidential and vice-presidential debates.
Barr says the candidates seem too comfortable during the debates.
"A wink here or a little shrug that way, and trying to bring it down to the level of ‘you betcha the Constitution is a good thing,’ said Barr, referring to Gov. Sarah Palin's occasionally informal way of speaking.
Barr is a former Republican congressman from Georgia.
He will speak at Valparaiso University later Friday night.
