18-year-old high school senior Kristina Sliman is a big Cleveland Browns fan.

Kristina, who attends Amherst HS in Cleveland, suffers from cerebral palsy. On Thursday, she was able to go to Browns training camp and meet a number of Cleveland players.

The player she wanted to meet most, Brady Quinn.

Sliman, not only is a fan of the Browns, but also a personal fan of Quinn. She used to follow him when he was here at Notre Dame.

So she couldn't contain her excitement when Quinn came up to her and gave her a big hug.

The two then shared a nice conversation.

Quinn said its one of the most touching moments he's had since joining the Browns last season.

Oh, c'mon, it was only apple juice! Based on the pics (thanks for the link, RIF), the worst crime he has committed is his haircut. Armando needs to get his hands (and scissors) on JC.

I saw the pics in question, The Big Lead.com is where I found them. One pic he has no beer or drink in his hand. In the second, he is holding a cup, however, you cannot tell what is in it. Although the girl he is tapping glasses with appears to be holding a cup of beer. WHO CARES, if it were anyone else on campus, no one would care about it. I must say though, what a moron, posing for pics in that setting was a REAL BAD idea. I mean, dude, you had all of the hater nation looking to put you in prison blues for just being in a car with booze in it. Next time get a few of the D linemen to make sure no cameras are around and you wont find your mug on the internet. If the school finds wrong doing and I suspect they will in this case. Clausen should be punished, it is only fair. Anonymous, what picture shows him holding a beer, the one where he has a cup in his hand, you cannot tell what it is

Posted by: Anon Location: Here on Aug 6, 2008 at 01:24 PM
Not a domer, Anon. Don't start hating just yet. The only thing I was going off of was the Chicago Tribune article which stated that he was not seen consuming a beer. Why don't you give us the link instead of posting just to be a jerk to other posters?

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 6, 2008 at 09:14 AM
Uh...funny..but the picture I am staring at shows clearly Jimmy C CLEARLY holding a beer. But, you're right. Maybe he is just holding it for the picture. HA! Domers and their lies and cover-ups. It never ends.

Posted by: Anon Location: Here on Aug 6, 2008 at 07:49 AM
Anon at 9:53... from what I can tell, the only thing that is going on with Clausen is that there are pics out there that show him attending a party that had beer. There are no pics/proof that he consumed alcohol, which is probably why they aren't covering it in the news. Just a hunch- if they went after all underage people who were near a beer, that'd be a little crazy. Do I think he was drinking? Sure! But they have to prove that he did something wrong before they go after him, and I am not sure they have enough evidence yet. But look to the right- last year's article is now one of the most popular headlines again!

Nice try.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 5, 2008 at 10:53 AM
Why hasn't WNDU reported on Clausen's latest getting busted on alcohol related issues? What is that now? The second time for the young soon-to-be sophmore? HA! Not suprising, considering the stories that float around campus about that tool. We will see how long this takes to be reported on by WNDU...or if this post even makes to the web...

You can't refute my point, so you resort to name calling. Typical, Anon, just like your name.

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 4, 2008 at 04:00 PM
Jenna is just another bimbo who likes brady because of his "dreamy" looks. It's obvious. Stay away from the TV on sunday, jenna, and make some delicious snacks for the boys.

Mitch- how does Brady being pick #22 make Dan wrong? He still went in the first round... Dan never mentioned that Brady was drafted #10... please enlighten us with your all-knowing google experience... or is it wikipedia? And let's not even HAVE the discussion about a "bomb" in the NFL- he was a rookie, you loser. LOTS of rookies see the bench their first year. Give Anderson a few games to regress towards his mean (which in layman's terms, in deference to Mitch, means he will suck again!) look for Brady to step up. See you in a month or two, Mitch!

Posted by: Mitch Location: Mishawaka on Aug 1, 2008 at 09:53 PM
And Dan, to refresh your memory...he was projected to be picked in the top ten. Not even close.

Posted by: Mitch Location: Mishawaka on Aug 1, 2008 at 09:51 PM
Umm Dan..you sir are dead wrong. Brady was number 22 in the draft pick sir. Look it up...I just did to confirm it on two different sites. Not only was he number 22..he didn't even get any field time till 12/31/07...well over half way though the season. Yes, he bombed. Thanks.

I wish I could hold Brady in my arms. He's gorgeous!!

Since when is the ability to throw a football further than any other human outrank the ability to be a DECENT & KIND human being? Brady has had his issues on the feild thru college & prolly thru his NFL career(which I hope is a LONG career)...however as a longtime ND fan & a longtime Browns fan,I do admire BQ for not letting the negatives outweigh his positives and the positive affect he has the chance to make on other lives thru his NFL status. Its really funny how this time last year everyone was hating on Anderson & singing the praises of Charlie Frye...that worked out well for ya'll didn't it? Who will be the target when Anderson falls and BQ rises to the top? The Browns next qb pick? Be a fan or dont be a fan,but if you chose to be one then be a whole TEAM fan.

GOOD FOR YOU BRADY QUINN, IT MAKES MY HEART HAPPY TO KNOW YOU MADE A CHILD WITH CEREBRAL PALSY,I TO HAD A COUSIN THAT HAD IT, BUT LOST HIS LIFE TO IT ALSO. IF WE ALL COULD TOUCH ONE CHILD WITH GREAT JOY, THIS WORLD WOULD BE TOTALLY AWESOME. GOD BLESS YOU BRADY.

just another example of the gentleman, Brady Quinn...and a Notre Dame graduate.

Posted by: Man Crush on Aug 1, 2008 at 02:41 PM
BQ is a good guy, not only is he huge and awesome, but he's got a big heart. I don't know how anyone could not have a man-crush on him, I know I do and all my friends do!!!

Good to hear Rick Mirer is still alive and well. Oh wait. Eh, comment still stands.

Hey Mitch? Quinn bombed in the draft? Bombed? He was picked in the 1st round. I wish I could bomb like that - I bet you would to! The guy is awesome - I only wish he hadn't of held out. Otherwise he is a class act on and off the field!

Posted by: joe Location: Goshen, In on Aug 1, 2008 at 12:23 PM
Mitch, anytime a player gets drafted, its not a bomb. There is millions of high school seniors that would love to be drafted, anywhere.Do I sense a little bitterness

Posted by: Rod Location: Indiana on Aug 1, 2008 at 11:49 AM
Yeah! You should all be ashamed of yourselves! Just because Quinn is overrated as with all ND players, doesn't mean that he is a nice guy! Geez. I mean, look at Bianca's comments. She obviously knows a lot about football to have Quinn as her favorite player. Those couple of snaps that he took last year would make him anyone's favorite player. Just because football is not what he is good at, he is still a nice guy! Give him a break!

Posted by: Tammy Location: South Bend on Aug 1, 2008 at 11:37 AM
Good job Quinn, I see here on these post you have alot of people jealous of you! They only wish they could be as good as you not only at sports but looks as well. I am proud of you for touching that girls haert and making a dream come true! Way to go and good luck on your season this year. Should go to the Packers though they need you there...

I cannot believe the trash responses by anon at 9:38 and DJ. Dan in SC is on target, and I agree with him. A story like this is not deserving of trash comments. Thanks to Angelo DiCarlo for the story.

Posted by: me Location: mishawaka on Aug 1, 2008 at 11:14 AM
If more of the players in all professional sports gave back it would be a better image. Now half of the image is gun and booze and women. Thanks Brady for being a good person!!!!!! ND FAN FOR LIFE

The previous comments are just sad. Bash Quinn all you want, but pick a better time and place.

Awesome! Brady the hottie made her day. Way to go! You rock!

Brady Quinn stole mr. anonymous' girlfriend in high school. that's sad

Posted by: DJ Location: St Joe County on Aug 1, 2008 at 10:40 AM
That is wonderful! It is good he is giving back and sharing his kindness since he is so over rated in his sport!

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 1, 2008 at 10:38 AM
Who's Brady Quinn? Didn't he play football or something for some school back in the day?

Posted by: Anonymous on Aug 1, 2008 at 09:36 AM
Awww, what a nice human interest story. Now if playgirl could score a centerfold of Brady Quinn :)

Posted by: Mitch Location: Mishawaka on Aug 1, 2008 at 08:54 AM
Brady who? Isn't he that has-been quarterback that once played for ND and totally bombed in the drafts?

Posted by: Bianca Location: Phoenix, Arizona on Aug 1, 2008 at 08:38 AM
A beautiful, touching story! This is why Brady Quinn is my favorite football player in the NFL. He is so caring, and does so much for his fans. May God bless him & Kristina always.
