ATF asks for citizens help in recovering stolen gun Save Email Print

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is asking for your help to help recover a rifle stolen from an Elkhart County Sheriff's car two weeks ago.

The ATF is offering a reward up to 5000 dollars for information leading to the arrest of the rifle thief.

Authorities are looking for a Colt model M-16, 223 caliber rifle and four loaded magazines.

The Sheriff's patrol vehicle was broken into between the night of Friday June 20th and the 21st.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department at (574) 533-4151, or the ATF 24-hour Crime Gun Hotline: 1-800-ATF-GUNS.

hey, i was just curious if while you B.A.T.F.E. boys are looking for this missing firearm, maybe you could look for the missing front door of the branch davidian church that you guys shot up in 93. help the B.A.T.F.? is that a joke? you murdering scum are in the wrong state asking for help. so do us all a favor and crawl back into the hole you've crawled out of.

the ATF just sent an army veteran to prison because his 20 year old low end AR15 misfired while a friend was using it. theyre charging this poor guy with get this "illegal transferring of a machine gun". he was currently in the reserves. i bet he didnt think the BATFE was the enemy until his door was kicked in with machine guns pointed at him.

m4 you just admitted your weakness. You know you can't compete against armor and air support. I've seen you post on other threads that you could take on government forces. Guess what they have air support and armor. Seems like your only weapon against them is to call them cowards for using their equipment. WOW that'll stop 'em! Take your medication and try to relax.

Well Mitch how dare we speak our damn mind in our displeasure in our government. I have to say Mitch our founding fathers would spit in your face for being such a lowly suck up little weasel. You really need to read, study history my friend, we are in charge, they need to fear us, not the other way around. Also Mitch, you are part of the miltia as well, if you read our founding fathers writings, every able bodied man is part of the militia. They put that pesky little second ammendment in place to keep tyranical governments in check, if this government isnt heading towards tyranny then I dont know what is. It isnt really a gun either that people would love to get their hands on, you can get them pretty easily mitch. That is great though to lump militia members into a category of thieves. Mitch do you work for the government? You sure use alot of disinfo tactics that our government enjoys employing. Wake up Mitch, we are heading for 1984, help freedom, not tyranny.

Yeah sorry ATF, I agree with M4, you are domestic enemies and I wouldnt lend your corrupt agency a hand if you were drowning. I dont want to be WACOed by you nazi's so I shall not help you, I would gladly cast my vote however to abolish you. Abolish what the whole federal government has become in my opinion, starting with the IRS, and then moving on secondly to the ATF. Big thanks to the NRA for having the chance to do away with them when Reagan was in office and them saying no to it. If any of you are NRA supporters I urge you to drop support of them and support more pro constitutional organazations such as gun owners of america, and jews for the preservation of firearms ownership. Time to wake up the lies, time to cast these crooks we pay with our taxes out on their heads.

BATFE=domestic enemies. so it really was a rifle length m16? thats about as untactical of a patrol weapon as it gets. carbines guys....carbines....
