18th Annual all Catholic Schools Spelling Bee held in South Bend
South Bend, Ind. Some of the best spellers from area Catholic grade schools came together Thursday morning to square off.

Some of the best spellers from area Catholic grade schools came together Thursday morning to square off.
Dozens of students competed in the 18th Annual All Catholic Schools Spelling Bee at the Knights of Columbus Hall on East Washington in South Bend.
Terry McFadden had the honor of emceeing the event
It took nine rounds to complete the field of six who will now move on to the Regional Spelling Bee that will be held on March 1 at Bethel College.
