From recycling an old site to recycling old electronics, people in Berrien County are doing a little spring cleaning to get rid of their electronics.
Andrews University hosted an electronic recycling event and people are bringing out everything from cell phones to printers.
All types of electronics are accepted, but the main focus is to collect old televisions and computer monitors so they can be disposed of properly.
The organizers have been thrilled with the community’s response.

“I’m very impressed by Berrien County residents and businesses who attend these collections. It's an extra effort; they don't have to come and recycle their materials, but they do make the drive out, and they don't seem to mind. They seem to want to do the right thing,” said Jill Adams, an environmental specialist in Berrien County.
