The boil water order was lifted today in Royalton, Lincoln and St. Joseph counties and the villages of Stevensville and Shoreham at 2:15 Thursday afternoon.

Portions of the water system in the southern portion of the St. Joseph Water Plant system lost pressure on Tuesday afternoon after a power failure.

Even though the plant’s emergency generator restored partial power, sensors installed at new booster stations misinterpreted the drop in pressure as over pressurizing the system. Those sensors then caused an emergency water discharge, and the plant was unable to quickly recoup that loss of water and pressure.

People who refrained from using water over the last 48 hours should turn on the faucet and let the water run for at least one minute and up to several minutes depending on the water service to ensure there is fresh water in all the lines.

School board is right! This was not to be a debate between all parties. Only one side would be presented and give a bias to peoples opinions without hearing all sides.
