More than 1,100 dads and daughters danced the night away at the Century Center Tuesday night.
It's all part of the 12th Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance at the Century Center.
The event started small at the Newman Center with girls ages three to 12 and their fathers.
Eventually it grew into this large dance taking over a floor of the Century Center and organizers say if demand keeps up, more expansion is underway.
Paula Garis, SB Parks and Rec, describes how crowded the event was, “We may move to another level down below, have both levels going at the same time. We sold out really quickly and we've had to turn a lot of people away, so we hope next year people register early so they're not disappointed.
Not to be left out, a dance for moms and sons is scheduled for March 21 at the Palis Royale Ballroom.
