A Mishawaka Catholic Church faces thousand of dollars in loss after a weekend burglary. It happened a few weekends ago when someone stole some gift cards used for fundraising.
About three weeks ago church members at Saint Monica's Catholic Church and School say 20 thousand dollars worth of scrip was stolen.
Scrip included various gift cards used to help raise money. Apparently the theft was discovered Sunday morning but there weren't any visible signs of a break-in.
Since it wasn't cash that was taken the cards were canceled making them useless and minimizing the loss.
