Authorities say a head-on crash of two cars on Indiana 9 killed Grant County man and two Kokomo women.
Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson says the crash late Friday killed 50-year-old Timothy Thompson of Jonesboro and 54-year-old Kimberly Gregory and 56-year-old Linda Elliot of Kokomo. Richardson told The Herald-Bulletin that a third Kokomo woman, 76-year-old Bertha Gregory, was hospitalized with a concussion and multiple rib fractures. She was riding in the front seat of the Sebring.
Richardson said Thompson's Chevrolet Cavalier crossed the median and struck a Chrysler Sebring driven by Gregory.
A coroner pronounced both drivers dead at the crash scene about 45 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Elliot, who had been riding in the back seat of the Sebring, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
