An Ohio man convicted of repeatedly molesting a young girl has been sentenced to 58 years in prison by a judge who called him among the worst of the worst.
The Journal Gazette reports Allen Superior Court Judge John Surbeck told 25-year-old Joshua Johnson of Van Wert, Ohio, that his abuse of the girl turned her value system upside down, causing her substantial damage. Court documents say the girl's mother told police her daughter first disclosed the abuse when she was 3 years old.
Court documents say the abuse came to light when a witness told investigators there was a video of Johnson repeatedly molesting the
girl.
He was convicted of charges that include child molesting, child exploitation and possession of child pornography.
