Purdue to hold conference on post-disaster relief
Scholars from around the world plan to attend a conference at Purdue University later this month to share advances in post-disaster recoveries.

Scholars from around the world plan to attend a conference at Purdue University later this month to share advances in post-disaster recoveries.
The March 25 conference on the West Lafayette campus comes on the wake of global disasters such as the Haiti earthquake, Indian Ocean tsunami and Hurricane Katrina.
The conference will focus on social science advances in the field of post-disaster recovery. There will be individual presentations by leading international scholars, moderated panels and question-and-answer sessions.
