About 3,000 of the nation's best scholastic musicians are heading to Indianapolis this week for an event called the Music for All National Festival.
Organizers say many of the nation's finest high school and middle school orchestras, concert bands and percussion ensembles will gather in Indianapolis for the event that runs Thursday through Saturday. The primary venues are Clowes Hall on the Butler University campus and the Warren Performing Arts Center on the city's far east side.
The Honor Orchestra of America will perform a joint concert with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.
Some of the concerts are free to the public.
