Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels says he'll auction off for charity the New Orleans Saints flag he displayed outside his office for losing a Super Bowl bet.
Daniels displayed the flag outside his Statehouse office for a week after losing the bet to Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal on the outcome of Super Bowl.
The Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 on Feb. 7.
The flag was listed Thursday on the online auction site eBay.com for one week with an opening bid of $100. Daniels says he'll sign the flag before sending it to the winning bidder.
The Indiana Senate passed a resolution Thursday honoring the Saints. It was sponsored by longtime Saints fan Sen. Jim Arnold.
The LaPorte Democrat promised he'd take home a Saints jersey he's been displaying in his Senate cubicle.
