Tests offered for lifeguards at Ind. properties
Indianapolis, IN The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says lifeguarding tests for already certified lifeguards who want to work at state parks and reservoirs properties will be held in April at two sites.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says lifeguarding tests for already certified lifeguards who want to work at state parks and reservoirs properties will be held in April at two sites.
In southern Indiana, the test will be held April 11 at the Harrison County YMCA in Corydon, about 25 miles west of Louisville, Ky. The test also will be give April 25 in Muncie at Ball State University's Lewellen Aquatic Center.
Registration at both sites starts at 8:30 a.m., with testing starting at 9 a.m. Testing will include blood-borne pathogens, a written test and a water test. There's no cost.
Applicants must be certified in lifeguarding and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, for the professional rescuer.
