Houston man shot while driving to visit family in Indiana
30-year-old Jose Montiel told police he was driving on Interstate 65 near Indianapolis when he was shot in the shoulder – his van was struck by several bullets.

A man shot on the northwest side of Indianapolis overnight shows up at a Warsaw hospital hours later.
30-year-old Jose Montiel told police he was driving on Interstate 65 near Indianapolis when he was shot in the shoulder – his van was struck by several bullets.
Montiel was driving from Houston, Texas to Milford, Indiana to visit his brother-in-law.
Since he doesn't speak English, Montiel drove to Milford, so his brother-in-law could take him to the hospital.
His injuries are not life threatening.
The shooting remains under investigation.
