A friend of a missing Wheatfield woman was jailed on kidnapping and other charges after police say he led investigators to the woman's shallow grave.
Aaron Flynn is being held in the Jasper County Jail in Rensselaer on $100,000 bond. He faces preliminary charges of theft, forgery, criminal confinement, fraud and kidnapping.
Police say Flynn led them to a shallow grave at an abandoned Newton County farm holding the remains of Rosalba Silvana Ricchio Sunday.
Ricchio was reported missing March 11. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
A news release says Flynn told police he and another person had forcibly removed Ricchio from her home March 10.
