Authorities say no one was injured when a small plane made an emergency landing in a field near Bloomington and hit a tree.
Pilot Larry Gering told police the plane stalled yesterday morning. When he landed in a field along Rockport Road, one of the plane's wings hit a tree, causing it to spin and breaking off part of the landing gear.
The Federal Aviation Administration was investigating.
