The Blue Chip Casino wants to help more than 200 people hit the jackpot with a job fair Wednesday October 29th.

The Blue Chip is looking for people to staff its $130,000,000 Michigan City hotel, set to open in January of 2009.

The job fair will be in the grand ballroom from 9am to 6pm.

Applicants are encouraged to apply on-line and to bring a resume.

If you miss Wednesday's job fair, the Blue Chip is holding another one on Saturday, November 8th from 9am to 5pm.

Let's see. Whirlpool is cutting 300 white collar jobs in St. Joe/Benton Harbor, while Blue Chip is hiring 200 in Michigan City. What a sad commentary on the state of the Country we live in today. The only thing flourishing today is gambling, alcohol consumption & lottery ticket sales. Welcome to the "End of Days". God help us all.

Would it not be ironic, if some of the people who travel over to this job fair are the same people who three years ago posted about how they could not possibly survive a timezone split between Elkhart and Saint Joseph Counties.

expect 1000 people to show up and none get hired.their practices are really strange.
