Sunday marks the 25th anniversary of the unsolved murder of a little girl in Michiana. Police are still searching for her killer.
11-year-old Brandie Peltz of Argos stayed home sick from school on December 11th, 1986.
She was found dead, strangled in her bathtub, and her farmhouse was set on fire to cover the crime.
Three years ago, a fictional novel was published inspired by the case, which renewed interest in the real crime.
Detective Tom Littlefield from the Indiana State Police has been investigating the cold case.
Littlefield tells Newscenter16 that he continues to receive tips but he believes there are still people out there with helpful information who have yet to come forward.
If you think you have any information that could help Detective Littlefield find Brandie's killer, he would like you to call him at the Indiana State Police Post at 1-800-552-2959.
