The University of St. Francis plans to build a seven million dollar dormitory on its Fort Wayne campus.
The three-story complex will be across from the school's football field and a scenic lake. It will house 150 students in suites and will connect to an existing dormitory through an atrium.
The new dorm will be geared toward upperclassmen, who could move into the facility in 2010. The suites will include two bedrooms connected by a bathroom. The hall will also include laundry facilities, lounges, a computer lab and study rooms.
The Catholic liberal arts school expects an increase in enrollment and the number of students living on campus. Some 2,200 students are expected to be enrolled this fall.
