The Indiana State Prison Police are hoping to get new kennels and training for their K-9 team, but they need your help.
The police are auctioning off an 18,000-dollar Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 944 Porsche.
Both were donated by Michigan City dealerships.
For just 10 dollars you can enter the Porsche raffle, and for 20 dollars you can buy a Harley raffle ticket.
The money raised will go towards training these furry friends.
"We have dogs that are trained for tobacco detection, we have dogs that are trained for narcotic detection, we have dogs that are trained for aggression control,” said Sgt. Hiram Sizemore. “It's added benefit. It gives us a different training environment, it gives us different training, and it gives us an opportunity to get our dogs certified through the International Police Work Dog Association."
If you are interested in winning either one of these rides, call Great Deals on Wheels at 219-878-1670.
