Senator Barack Obama began primary election day today by dropping in at a suburban Indianapolis restaurant.
He walked around shaking hands at the Four Seasons Family Restaurant in Greenwood, then sat at the counter and had an omelet, chatting with patrons on either side.
Asked about today's voting, the Democratic candidate said he feels good.
He said he's campaigned hard, but he thinks the race with Senator Hillary Clinton will be close and he's seeing a lot of enthusiasm.
The former first lady continued pressing her proposal for a federal gas tax holiday that Obama has dismissed as a gimmick, one of the few issues where they clearly diverge.
Clinton is scheduled to make a stop at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this morning.
