A line has been drawn in the sand by an Indiana superdelegate and he's hoping his colleagues will follow suit.
Joe Andrew, who was appointed to the Democratic National Committee by Bill Clinton, Thursday decided to support Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton.
Andrew told WNDU Friday democrats need to pick a candidate who can win in November.
“I've spent eight years fighting against the very idea that we have super delegates,” said Joe Andrew, Former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. “I’m a critic of this process because I was the national chair during the recount for Al Gore, when Al Gore got 550,000 more votes than George Bush. George bush got to be president because of the Electoral College.
Andrews also says he thinks Barack Obama and Evan Bayh would make a good ticket.
He says Bayh is capable and would help heal the rift among democrats.
