Folks across Michiana are anxious to watch the Irish take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS National Championship game, but those who don’t get ESPN are looking for other venues to watch the game.

Several Michiana bars are offering drink specials, including The Linebacker, Between the Buns, Brother’s Bar and Grill and Reillys Sports Bar and Grill in Michigan City.

The Lerner Theater in Elkhart is putting the game on the big screen. Tickets are free, but they’re limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Lerner also has a pre-game tailgate buffet for $15, beginning at 7 o'clock and running through halftime.

Plus the Granger Community Church is airing the game on their 48-foot screen. That event is free.

Kick-off in south Florida is at 8:30p.m. Eastern. Check out our one-hour special beginning at 7:00 on NewsCenter 16.

Share information about your watch party, including photos, on Facebook, or email NewsCenter 16.
