A 42-year-old Holland man was arrested early Saturday morning for disorderly conduct and urinating in public.
The incident took place at the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office in Paw Paw.
A deputy was completing a report on an office computer and noticed a man outside the window urinating on the building and sidewalk. He left the building and confronted the man, who police say was clearly intoxicated.
The man told police he was at the sheriff's office to bond a friend out of jail, but had to urinate so badly, he couldn't make it to the lobby restroom inside the sheriff's department.
The man, who'd just been released from the Ottawa County Jail only three hours earlier, was booked at the Van Buren County Jail with the individual he had been attempting to bond out.
