Nine years ago a 19-year-old man was found shot to death in South Bend, police are still looking for who did it.

Lieutentant Cindy Kilgore of Michiana Crime Stoppers joined 16 Morning News with more information.

Jamarr Broadnax was found dead on March 9, 2003. He was sitting in a car near the intersection of Kenwood and Fremont in South Bend.

"Suddenly the dome light came on, someone had snuck up to the car," said Lt. Kilgore.

After the driver fled, Jamarr was pistol whipped and shot several times. Police found him outside the vehicle.

"There are other people that know what happened but for whatever reason they're afraid to come forward," said Lt. Kilgore.
