The dry weather also means that areas all over Indiana have to be cautious when it comes to fire.
Saint Joseph County and the city of South Bend will be under a burn ban starting Friday at 6 in the morning.
Marshall County has been under a ban since Wednesday at noon. Drought conditions make areas more vulnerable to widespread fire hazards.
Open burning is prohibited until further notice with the exception of charcoal or propane gas grills. The ban will remain in effect for at least seven days in Marshall County.
Noble, Steuben, and Grant counties also have burn bans.
Without rain, conditions will only continue to get dryer and more counties could be added to the list today.
