UPDATE: One dead, one in custody after overnight shooting
South Bend, IN One person is dead after an overnight shooting South Bend Friday night.

Saturday, Metro Homicide arrested one teen who is in custody at the Juvenile Justice Center.
Police say some type of fight broke out on the 1000 block of Lindsey Ave in South Bend.
There were several people inside of the house when the shooting happened. An 18-year-old man was shot to death just after midnight.
No word on what caused the altercation but police will say drinking, drugs and gambling were involved.
"I was just on the phone, talking to him, my brother and I, we was talking to him and all of a sudden hear a gunshot down the street," Robert Stalling said.
"It's just hard to take it, I mean, someone that you just get done talking to on the phone is all of a sudden you know, he's gone. I mean, it's really hard right now," Stalling added.
The name of the suspect won't be released since he is a juvenile.
He will be preliminarily charge with reckless homicide and carrying a handgun without a permit.
The name of the victim hasn't been released yet.
